The canned fish and seafood were present in Vigo SeaFest, which was held from Thursday July 5 to Sunday July 8 in the area of the Gardens of Elduayen and the Nautical Vigo.
ANFACO-CECOPESCA participated in this edition as a collaborator of the gastronomic festival with a foodtruck in which sandwiches and tapas of tuna, sardines and mussels were offered. Information was also provided so that young and old alike can learn the benefits of seafood and aquaculture.
In addition, ANFACO-CECOPESCA, in collaboration with the Xunta de Galicia through the Consellería do Mar, promoted canned fish and seafood through the realization of two showcookings on Friday at 19:00 h and Sunday at 15:30 h in the ARVI Julio Verne stage by chef Juan Carlos Perret, from Kero Cocina Peruana. With this demonstration and subsequent tasting of three dishes made with three products (tuna in olive oil, pickled mussels and sardines in olive oil), demonstrated the versatility and wide variety of products offered by canned fish and seafood.
