Mackerel with wasabi avocado cream, Light tuna with lime potato, Zamburiña in scallop sauce with beans, Stuffed squid and codium mayonnaise, spicy cockle, Mussel in emulsion of its marinade and Sardine with red fruits.
As we always say, these could be the names of recipes of a restaurant with Michelin Star, but in reality, they are the elaborations that the pilgrims who accompanied us in our last adventure, The Compostelata, were able to taste.
Offering an average of 225 snacks a day, the food truck from Taste the can once again made the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, but this time by the French way.
About 1,500 people came to test our preparations throughout the 7 stages, although only 224 accumulated the necessary stamps to qualify for the final grand prize.
Prize that will be drawn on October 11, as they point out in the legal basis of the microsite of the campaign in which you can access all the information we shared during each of the stages through the QR codes that were in the credential of the taster or Compostelata.
In each of them they found information about the base product of each city/stage assigned to the city, the relevant recipes for them and historical information about each city and its points of tourist interest.
For our arrival in Santiago de Compostela we held a closing ceremony attended by different personalities such as: Ms. Rosa Quintana, Conselleira do Mar; Ms. Cecilia Pereira, Commissioner of Xacobeo 2021, Ms. Carmen Pita, Director of Tourism Promotion of Galicia and Mr. Juan Vieites, Secretary General of ANFACO-CECOPESCA.
This action is part of the O Teu Xacobeo programme promoted by the Xunta de Galicia.
